The first movie of this series was Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse, everyone agreed that the movie was both crazy and one of the best-animated movies ever made, but the second movie which I will talk about in this review "Spider-man: Actoss the Spider-verse" was much crazier and better. There are a few reasons why:
First of all the visuals: In every scene, there were loads of details that the audience couldn't keep up with. It was hard to focus in some parts, but the feeling of watching an occupied movie was priceless. If you would've taken screenshots of any scene from this movie, you could easily frame it and hung it somewhere, and it would've looked like something from an art gallery. It is because this movie is pretty artistic. In these couple of years, there was not this much of popular movie that was this artistic. The colors, the drawings, and the different styles for every single universe that this movie took place in all looked so attentive. You could feel like every universe had a different story and different perspective.
Secondly the story: Even though this movie is an animation, the story for this movie was better than the live-action Spiderman movies. In the current movies, you could easily understand what is going to happen next, and why the writers put the story in that way. But in this Spider-verse movie, there was one big plot twist that most of the audience didn't understand till the very end of the movie. Even though the first half of the movie felt a bit long, the second half didn't even feel like it was half of the movie. Most of the audience couldn't believe it when they saw the "to be continued" title on the screen. I was disappointed to see this title too because I wanted to learn what is going to happen next, but Sony made really good marketing here for the third movie.
I would suggest all of you watch this movie in a movie theatre because I think it is the only way you can truly experience this movie. The story, the visuals, and the songs all were amazing, and everyone who likes cinema would love this movie.
