Oppenheimer Movie Review

By looking at the IMDb page of this movie, you can tell it is good. A famous cast, the director Christopher Nolan, and an average rating of 8.6 shows why you need to go to the nearest movie theatre and watch this movie, but I'm going to talk about it in much more detail in this review.

Oppenheimer

The movie Oppenheimer is basically about Robert J. Oppenheimer's -who is known as the father of the atomic bomb- life and the series of political events going on during the creation of the atomic bomb. The movie covers the second world war, and how Oppenheimer's creation is the reason the war ended.

Oppenheimer

First of all, for me (and for many people) the best part of this movie was the sounds. It feels like you can hear how Oppenheimer's brain sounds. I watched this movie with subtitles so I didn't have any problem with "not hearing the actors". But if you watched the movie without the subtitles, then it could be hard to understand the dialogue since they are so quiet. And sometimes even with the subtitles, you couldn't understand what the characters were talking about, because of a couple of reasons. For example, sometimes the characters talked too specifically with physics terms, and sometimes they talked about a person who you never heard of in this movie, or you have seen the character but you didn't pay too much attention to their names. However other than the dialogues, the sounds were extremely good. If you watch this movie in IMAX, in some scenes you can feel like an earthquake is happening.

Oppenheimer

This movie explores the intricate intersection between politics and science. It is certain that to write this film the writer needs to have a level of understanding of physics that surpasses what is typically expected of a filmmaker. So Oppenheimer is standing out as Nolan's best-written movie.

Oppenheimer

Personally, I didn't understand some scenes in this movie however I think if you don't think too much about a scene you didn't understand during the movie it would be for the best. Because you can miss another scene while focusing on a scene you didn't understand. In the end, everything will be clear for you.
